Saif has more than six years of experience working in business development, project management and partnerships with several well-known international and local entities supporting entrepreneurship. Prior to joining Falak, Saif was the Startup Relations Manager at RiseUp, where he was responsible for engaging new startups in the Egyptian entrepreneurship ecosystem. He worked to connect Egyptian startups to with RiseUp’s strong networks and resources. He also led the Special Events Team, managing 20+ events during the three-day annual RiseUp Summit. Saif started his career as an Agriculture Program Officer at Mercy Corps, where he mentored and provided technical assistance to young entrepreneurs in Cairo, Alexandria, Giza, Luxor, and Aswan. Saif was also the CEO and Co-Founder of Barsima, a startup investing in agriculture in Egypt. He holds a BA in Political Science from Cairo University.
